We are located on the second floor of the Chemistry Building on the University of Washington campus. Our laboratory space contains the necessities for synthetic chemistry and polymer characterization. We have eight 6′ fume hoods across 211 – 217 CHB, as well as a 6′ floor-to-ceiling hood for instrumentation. Our fume hoods are equipped with stir plates and custom Schlenk lines. We have a single-station and double-station glovebox for air- & moisture-free manipulations. We also have a complete GPC system for polymer characterization and a number of ball mills for extensive mechanochemistry work. The team has access to the UW NMR and Mass Spectrometry facilities, as well as the Molecular Analysis Facility (MAF) in the Molecular Science & Engineering (MolES) Institute.
